ToniaNatalie,
We dose every 6 hours for my 8 & 9 year old ssw cah daughters. We’ve been doing it for a while now. It was a bit difficult at first to get used to the schedule after all those years of dosing every 8 hours. I set a wrist watch to alert me of the times. My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t wake up in the middle of the night for that dose so I used 2 alarm clocks plus my cell phone alarm. Before I knew it, we were used to the new schedule. I also wake up at 2 every morning (actually 1:59) even when they’re not here. I guess my body is just used to it. They also have a pill box that has slots for meds 4 times a day. I took a gold paint marker and wrote the exact times they need meds. This helps the girls because they’re responsible for getting their meds most of the time. It’s also helpful if they go stay at grammy’s because I just send them with their pill box all set to go.
Hope this helps! Good luck with the new dosing. Have a great day!
Blessings,
Tonia
