we just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl...the moment she was born we knew something was wrong because her genetaliawas not right.. we thought it was a boy with a deformed penis and testicles that had not dropped.. after 2.5 excruciating days in the hospital the test chromosome test came back that it was a girl and the doctor informed us that she had CAH. we are now waiting on several tests that we expect back early in the week to determine what type she has and what the next step is. We are now home with our 15 month old but our baby is in the ICU(they are afraid she is going to "crash." this is all very frightening to my wife and i... we live in Los Angeles.. our pediatrician has already been in touch with an endo at Childrens Hospital and as soon as we know more i believe we are going to begin treatment.

If anyone has any advice, or words of encouragement especially in these 1st few days, it would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has dealt with this in the LA area and had good or bad experiences with doctors we would love that info as well.
