aimeeThis will never change unless it is brought to those with the letters behind their names. A good place to start is http://www.caresfoundation.org scientific board-
(these are the ones that do studies)
Susan W. Baker, Ph.D Psychoendocrinologist and Sheri A. BerenBaum, Ph.D Psychologist
The above people and the ones on the Intersex Society of North America Medical Advisory board are the ones to focus on also.
The Urology Dept at Cornell University also has CAH as an Intersex condition besides a host of other major medical places of Hope : )
It does seem like the focus is stressed on lesbianism w/ CAH. I read somewhere that it is something like a 50/50 shot when you have CAH. I think it may be a factor but that doesn’t explain the women that don’t have CAH. Anyway, they share and for me instead of bringing them down? maybe trying to bring a much more rounded focus to what CAH really is.
It’s your Condition and you have the power to add your story and also to tell those with the degrees how you feel about living with CAH.
I’ve read the info about CAH and don’t see myself ....Loved lip gloss @ your age and have a maternal instinct but that isn’t what they want to hear about it seems.
