Really confued in Mississippi

Hi, my name is Cathy.  I live in Mississippi.  I was diagnosed with CAH back in 2000.  My Gyno sent me there to help her find some underlying problem to all the female probs I was having.  I was being treated with daily doses of Dexamethazone.  Which I hated because it did nothing to help with loosing the weight.  I took pills for about a year and moved.  Now it seems I have come to that place again.. I have been dumb and let it go untreated since then.  I was diagnosed Friday with PSOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) and was immediately referred to an Internist.  I still really dont understand what CAH is, just alot of talk about hormones and stuff.   I know I had severly high testostrone  levels, mine was 144, when it should have been like 33 i think.   My DHEA sulphate was in Phase 4, what ever that means...I know the Dr was concerned with my levels of everything.  I will be having all my blood work redone in the next month and will see where things stand for me now.  I do know, I will more than likely have to have a hystorectomy.  Any advise will be appreciated.
