M.L.Even medical personnel does the same thing. On my daughter’s first trip to the pedicatrician, a nurse acted confused about her ambiguous genitalia. I explained CAH to her briefly and told her that Cody was a girl. The nurse had the nerve to say, "Oh, is that what they decided." Needless to say, I did act too pretty. I said, "No that’s not what they decided. That’s who she is!" We didn’t see that nurse again! I’m sure I was a little senstive, but she didn’t have to go there!
