Hi all!  If my 9 (almost 10 year old daughter) knew I was asking this question she would faint on the spot from embarassment.  So to her, I apoplogize.  BUT the other day she came in the bathroom while I was shaving my legs.  She wants to know when she can shave.  OMG!  She’s in the 4th grade.  I thought that was way too young and traveled back to my early days.  My mom tells me my sisters and I could shave our legs in the 7th grade but we had short white blond hair.  My dd has long dark hair.  My friend Laura suggested an electric razor which I thought was a great idea.  I guess I’m just leary about letting a child who has to be reminded to brush her teeth and can’t remember to flush the toilet to get near razor blades.  I know I sound critical but this is such a big deal and perhaps it is because it is the transitional event.  I’m just wondering when you gals and mom’s with older girls started shaving.
