We have a 28 month old daughter who has SW CAH. She was diagnosed at birth and she had the corrective surgery when she was about 5 1/2 months old. Everything went really well and she has done well since then. It all depends on the doc you are seeing and your child’s health. But whenever you decide on the surgery make sure you go to a really good surgeon. Good luck to you.
