re: Getting up at night

My son (now almost 8) has always been a frequent user of restrooms. When he was a baby he would soak a night diaper in under 2 hours. He is finally getting to the point he can go all night without a visit to the bathroom.

I always thought it had something to do with not retaining salt. If I remember what I have read correctly, water follows salt, so it seems if he is losing salt he would also be losing water.

His sodium/potassium levels have always been pretty good. He has been on 1/2 tablet of florinef (.05mg/day) for most of his life. Whenever he had more than 1/2 tablet his bp went sky high.

Interesting thread.
