It is good that you are researching the surgery and not rushing to get it done. My daughter had complete surgery done at 3 years old. We felt it was in her best interest to have it all done at once while she was still young. We had originally consulted with a pediatric gynecologist but then became aware that incontinence is a major concern with this type of surgery, so we went to go to a pediatric urologist. It is important to go to surgeon with recent experience with this type of surgery. Also ask questions and make sure they are using current techniques. I hope all goes well for you & your daughter.Diana
