Just be real and accept the risks. Being allowed input on the surgery that was done to me would of made a positive difference in my life but others are glad to was done early. Some people have had to of endure more surgeries for vaginal stenosis and others haven’t. I read about a kid that had to do six surgeries and people that are older that only went through one. Expect the worse but hope for the best. If I had a kid born like me? I would want there input on their body ..really if she isn’t in medical pain and it’s just enlarged? I with respect don’t understand why someone would subject another human to surgery. Gneitals come in all shapes and sizes ... the body human and if she is higher up on the prader scale  of virilization? well I know that the majority and research has shown that when it comes to gender that we do line up with the female gender and surgery is just correcting the wacky adrenal glad : ) but what about the small chance that those extra androgens might of thrown a show in the different direction ...I think I was lucky in that the experts did one thing right in waiting just a little. I have these thought because I was born with this condition and one can’t expect others to think like this or even people with CAH to think the same. I wish they would of waited a little and asked me ....I wish they would of cared at the time about what I had to say about the subject. Kids like themselves until told or shown different

 

If this is a trauma to you then you need to do what you need to do but at least go to that surgeon in New York that seem to have the most experience in the field and seems to be the less invasive.
