Good questions....I also get very confused trying to figure out lab results and what they all mean. Somedays I think my daughter could be undersuppressed than other times it seems as if she is over suppressed. She also is very tiny and grows very slowly. Bottom line..... she is usually healthy and doing other things on par with kids her age.We have had some trips to the hospital & have given her solucortef injections at home for vomiting, high temps and extreme tiredness several times over the last few years but she always bounces back to good health after one of these episodes.

The book by Carol Hsu & Dr Rivkees, MD explains how to interpret lab results & explains over & under suppression. The support group leaders from CARES each have a copy of this book to share with others in their area. Contact your areas leader for access to the book as it is well worth  reading.
