re: Getting up at night

Hi, my son has nonswcah, he had a terrible time with night time bathroom use we used DDAVP for quite a while and he finally outgrew it. It affected his ability to stay awake at school. This was a true blessing of a medication, the endo would not perscribe it, said it wasn’t anything to do with his cah, (hello it is a gland that sits on his kidney, that is causing the grief) finally a urologist suggested it when we went for is lupron depot shot. For a long time I wouldn’t  let him sleep over any where, just because kids are cruel and it was terribly embarrasing for him.
