I don’t have kids but I do have CAH.

Maybe at first get rid of the candy around the house but then have some tasks/chores  that she can do around the house and pay her a small allowance for this and with this $ know her $ she can use it to but her candy.

I think lying comes from not feeling good about ones self. You feel good about yourself then no reason to lie because then you can take the consequences of your actions. Yep ...I did it ....what of it? or Yep ...I did it....feel bad ....I’m sorry ....I learned from it. I talked about things and what a relief when you come clean.
