Ok everyone basically knows every time I post it is usually about a rash my daughter that has SWCAH has. I swear. Well we noted she gets this rash on the inside of her elbows. Is there a name for that space? You know the space on the inside of your arm that they draw blood from? Anyway. I posted about this rash before and now it hit me this week. When I looked at her arms this week and the rash is at it’s worse, it hit me that that is exactly the area I apply EMLA cream. I have been doing that since she was I think 3. She is almost 9. I wonder if using that cream for so many years has broken down that area of skin and now it is extra sensitive to things. She has hivey-rashy skin anyway. I wonder if so many times using the cream it has thinned the skin. I know that it does something to the blood vessels. But I can’t remember. Anyone else have this problem? It may not be from using the EMLA cream but that is all I could think of. And know this is not what happens WHEN I have her use the cream. This is later. It has been quite a few months since we used it last. I wonder. Thanks!
