I have to say that a cure for CAH would be fantastic!!  Thankfully treatment is improving, and to be honest, I do not think we could get better results of control for my son’s CAH with his using the pump.  His doses are tailored to suit his individual needs  slowly and continuously, which mimics the circadian rhythm, effectively achieving the goal of replacing what his body would need. This has even given him growth we never thought he would achieve.  There are also exciting new developments of the slow release tablets which still have to be trialled. I know a lot of work is being done in the UK as I am sure there is in America.... but hopefully as you say, in our children’s lifetime there will be a cure.
