We do not go anywhere with out it. We have been doing this since since he was 1 wk old. Chances are yes you can always get to a hospital but............ you may need to administer the injection before than. I would rather be safe knowing I had it with me at all times. I keep a kit at the school also. When my 9 yr old SWCAH goes to sleepovers, school fieldtrips etc.  NEVER leave home without.
