We all carry 7-10 defective chromosones.  We certainly have NO choice as to which ones and how many we carry!!  Some people call it a "fluke" that two lovers bear a beautiful babe holding the exact same chromosone from each mom & dad resulting with a disorder.  I call it a MIRACLE!!  I feel God has protected my children with CAH because I see so many benefits to life.  The main blessing I feel is that they could have a genetic disorder where they have no limbs, no tongue, cancer, diabetes, Marfan’s, etc., etc., etc. 

I think many from "that" generation have a tendency towards guilt.  My 80yr old Dad, a Russian immigrant, rants & raves off & one over the past 11 yrs that "IT certainly did not come from my side of the family"!!!  I always giggle and say, "Dad, it just does not matter where it came from, you are my Dad, I am your daughter and these are your beautiful & healthy grandchildren!!
