In my teens I would sometimes wake up in the morning to a horrible pain in my leg, often the calf area and they would hurt soo much. I would cry and try to massage it to make it go away and sometimes that would help. Leg cramps can be related to having low potassium (salt) levels, or dehydration. Meds may need to be altered as I went from Dex to Hydrocortisone and they mainly disappeared. I was having them 7,8 times a year and now it is about twice a year (22y/o)
