JayneHi Ash,
It is unknown how long we are going to live with CAH. I just had my 35th birthday on Sunday 26th March and iam grateful to have made it through another year. As i am facing Heart Surgery in another week, which is unsure if it is CAH related but it is all leading that way. As a SWCAH person and all the developments through the years it is good to know that a expectancy has not been put on us as we prove science that we are survivors. I have been guinea pig all my life and i hope that it can help others understand and realise we are humans not lab rat freaks. We are a very special group of people and we need others to realise and we need to get the message out there. That we live the same sort of lives as others just that we need to take medication to survive. We can only hope that in this lifetime that somebody with CAH makes it to 100.
Stay Healthy, Stay Strong
