My endo would ask if I had my period yet and I would simply say no. Why? well I love my mother but she never made anything feel welcome in the puberty type way. I have an older sister (26) but I was not close with her, and I do not know how my mother dealt with these types of things with her but I did not feel comfortable telling my mom I had it when I was 13 and at my Grandma’s house in England when I first got it.

My mom was in the front lines of everything regarding CAH as she used to be a registered nurse so she was in charge. I was not close with my mother due to many reasons so it was easier to just say no and hide it than to tell anybody about it. I could not tell my endo because my mom was always in the room with me.  I don’t know why exactly, that’s just how it happened maybe one day I will remember as Megan said when you write things down eventually more come to you.

Thanks for your notes :)
