17OHP has just become available in my country for several months. I have it done for my 1 year old daughter twice. I have sent the latest result to the ER who is on travel and waited for her response. As it is quite new to us, I’d like to have the advice from parents who have experienced with that. Could you please kindly have a look at the blood test result below and share with me your thoughts.

 

I am not sure what kind of measurement unit you are familiar with, so I post here figures with different units for your convenience.

The test was done at 8AM, after my daughter got her dose at 5AM. Currently, her dose is 7.5 mg Hydrocortisone and 0.05 mg Florinef with schedule as follows 5AM, 8Am, 2PM and 9PM.

 

Besides, I notice that she gains weight quickly (1Kg/month) for the past three months since her dose increased from 6.25mg Hydro to 7.5mg Hydro (but her height aslo increases). And she starts to have many hair on the back and the arm. I do not know whether it is baby-normal thing or medication related.

 

With your experience and knowledge, please kindly give your thoughts. I sincerely appreciate that.
