I don’t have any experience with this procedure, but I’m wondering if they will numb the area or give you anything for the pain? If not, then I would take a dose of painkillers before you go (2 extra strength Tylenol, for example), which perhaps would at least take the edge off. I would also do this before any gyn visit. Perhaps they could give you something to help you relax if you let them know how worried you are. I would call today to ask about it. Take care.
