My son’s preschool classmate was diagnosed with Leukemia, and his family has been updating his condition and treatments everyday using CarePages. It’s a very nice way to know what’s going on in a not intrusive way. It is also easy for us visitors to write messages for him. Also, I found that it’s a nice outlet for caregivers to express their feelings. As many of you perhaps know, they often feel isolated and frustrated with difficult situation of caring sick ones daily.
Thinking back when my 5 year-old son was diagnosed as CAH and hospitalized, I wish I had a service like this – it would be a nice record of my feelings, treatments he received, adjustments to CAH life…
My concern though is anyone who knows the web address can register and sign up to enter the person’s page. It would be better for privacy if the owner of the page can screen the visitors when they sign up and before they actually enter the page.
