I agree, some are more qualified than others to draw.  We finally found a woman who is good and we always make sure that she is working.  Also, we pump my daughter full of liquids...popsicles, juice, water etc.   That really helps.  Also, the EMLA cream worked too well and they could never get blood if we used it.  We found ELAMAX over the counter which still numbs but doesn’t go so deep as to be a vasoconstrictor.  Julia
