The main difference of course, is that Addisonians have depleted androgens due to destruction of the adrenal cortex, in contrast to CAH people who (without treatment) have excessive androgens.

In other respects the core cortisol depletion (due to either an enzyme block or adrenal destruction) and salt loss (aldosterone lack) are the same.
