My daughter was 6 mths old when she had her vaginoplasty and clitoral reduction. I was terrified that she was going to be in pain afterwards and I was the one that made the decision to have this done. But amazingly, she showed no signs of pain after the surgery. I couldn’t keep her still. She was up wanting to play not long after the surgery. She came home with a catheter but I took that out a couple of days later. No problems with urinating, no problems with taking a bath, etc.  She did not come home on any pain meds either. Believe me,  at the first sign of pain, I would have been giving her something! But she NEVER acted like she needed anything. The whole experience was so much better than I had anticipated it to be. Thank goodness. Good luck with your daughter!
