Pain is well managed. Afterwards my daughter, age 3 complained more about the IV in her hand than the surgery. Came home with pres. for acetaminophen/codeine but only used it once. Up and charging around as soon as we came home. Didn’t seem to be in pain from urinating , no baths for awhile but we rinsed off with sterile water & sodium chloride to keep the site clean. We were very pleased with Dr Poppas and his expertise. He was great at explaining every step of the process & answered all our questions, he even kept us posted throughout the surgery via phone calls from the OR. She will be in good hands with Dr Poppas if you decide on surgery.
