re: Help - Baby won’t stop crying!!!

One problem when dealing with CAH kids is that we start with the CAH and tend to stay there, not considering non-CAH causes. Were it a non-CAH kid I would think colic. I have a nephew who was colicky as a baby, and when I watched him I used the old trick of Caro corn syrup of a pacifier. When our own oldest child was that way for the first three months, we did the same thing. It quiets them down for about five minutes. Obviously it’s not something you want to do all the time, just when you need a few minutes of quiet, but in your case it could possibly provide a clue about whether it’s CAH related or not.
