Dear Liz,

Congratulations.

Yes, your OB/GYNO and endocrinologist would coordinate your care w/the baby. Surprised this wasn’t brought up if the OB/GYNO was the one that informed you about being pregnant.

In any type of physical stress - operations, illness, development of a fetus for someone with CAH? Consultation between Endocrinologist and the other specialty is common place for me and my other conditions so can’t see why a pregnancy would be any different. I had fun reading the medical reports from the other Doctors to the Endo.

Your treatment during this time period will be linked to your overall health- had a friend with CAH that had a kid when she was 17 & she played softball for a couple of months into her pregnancy. She liked flat ginger ale for nausea.
