My 15mo daughter has cavities on the back of her front 4 teeth. She wont eat fruit, she doesn’t eat sugar, we brush her teeth, and she’s breastfed...the only thing I can think of is that we give her med’s late at night when she’s asleep and she goes back to sleep. Could it be the cortisol sitting on her teeth for awhile at night? or would that not be the problem? We use the pill, crush it and mix with water, so I"m pretty sure there’s no added sugar. Has anyone else had this problem with a child so young?Kristy
We’re lucky to have found the dentist we did though, he’s familiar with cah and wants to fix her teeth at the childrens hospital instead of his office, just to be extra safe. He’s going to put on sealants, so hopefully we wont have the problem again...
but I feel bad that she has to deal with something like this at such a young age.
