Oh thank goodness you guys are ok. That was so horrible! When the weather gets that bad, I ALWAYS sleep with our emergency pack for my daughter. We have a salty snack in it, a bottle of water, and all her meds. including her SoluCortef. After seeing what can happen to the people in the Katrina storm, there is no WAY I will be without her meds. or water. That was one of her questions after we saw what happened to those people in the Katrina storm, "Mom, how long would I live without my medicine?" Talk about heart breaking. I told her to NEVER worry about that now. I will always make sure we have her emergency pack with us. You just never know.
