I can relate. I have three children 5 yrs, 2 yrs, and 9 months and my oldest two (non-CAH), both have had major dental work. I have brushed and flossed their teeth but to no end they had dental decay. My dentist tells me it is genetic whether they are going to have good teeth or bad. My husband’s teeth are a mess, where as I have only had two cavities in my life.

There is what I have done to help their teeth. I give supplemental flouride (this is systemic and helps with teeth that are forming), I also paint their teeth with Act Flouride rinse (per my dental hygenist recommendation, this strenghtens the existing teeth) , then I brush and floss every morning and night.
