Just to offer some wild, amateur, uneducated speculation: The Florinef/Fludrowhatever replaces a hormone that is used to regulate electrolytes, (if I remember right). Electrolytes also seem to have a lot to do with the amount of water in the body. It seems like there may be some sort of connection there. How are his levels on that part of the lab results?
