I’m on Fosomax 2x a month, and over the counter Citrical I take about 2x a day.

As for diets high in calcium, lots of milk, yogurt, veges like spinach and broccoli are also high in calcium. Ice Cream of course is also, but this could raise your cholesterol if you eat too much and don’t exercise. Also if you don’t get much calcium one day my doctor said you can always take TUMS which is an antiacid. One Tums equals one glass of milk.

Don’t forget to exercise. Weight bearing activities such as walking, jogging, running, and weight lifting are all good on bones and build density also.

I’ve had bone scans every year for the last 8 or 10 yrs. I’m 40.
