re: Genetic testing

I’m still learning about CAH myself. I have a 5 month old swcah son. From what I understand, it takes two carriers to make a CAH baby. Genetic testing can tell you if you are a carrier. Even if the mother can’t be tested, you can still find out if you are a carrier. If you are not and the mother doesn’t have CAH (if you know)than your baby probably doesn’t have CAH. However it may be difficult, if you find out that you are a carrier and don’t know if the mother is. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
