Great question also and I hope you followed that I answered based on your question of being uncompensated and that lead to my curiosity if by understanding that you were not only interested in finding out about us but also things for the population without CAH.

I’m interested in the thirst mechanism (cyborg me....kidding ....so serious here)   for us being compensated (honey : ) we always need the cortisone ect.- or eventually leads to things like hypoglycemia and adrenal crisis.  My levels? perfect ) but still having some sort o’ problems. frequent voiding or being puffy like how I mentioned my Endo wanting at first to give me water pills and come to think of it for the other poster ...I think the drug Lasix does make one void more often.

The thirst issue is important to me because of the person that was on the floor after being given water pills. One takes notice to that and that’s why your post got me interested plus.....did you ask  : ) as you can see we are interested- one does get bored with those gender people. Nope wasn’t all into trucks but it seems like some w/ CAH are.

Plus this being puffy is just blows when one wants to wear certain shoes.

I think that CAH is a wonderful metabolic condition to study.   Really the main reason that I first posted was that nobody answered your post ......lookie ...I got the ball rollin A metabolic  Question ! son of a gun it’s about time! and not gonna talk dry and remove about anything but that’s me. I did at one time talk/write like that but someone accused me of trying to be smart  ; ) lol  - I having many conditions and now just kick it wit Da doctors and students w/ papers. Anyway, are you commited to this stuff? are you commited.

As for water? I can drink as much as I force myself to and feel better as a result. Someone wit CAH is moody ......naw just need water and food. I was interested in the water part ...OK NO more so alchoholic power drinking ...yes bad CAHer because in college? I really excelled in that subject and it did cross my mind about does someone w/ CAH get dehydrated quicker that others? I eventually stopped all the power drinking because after awhile of not having any hangovers or voided the alchohol at a high rate - Things CHANGED, to where I would have just one or two drinks and be in the restroom and have a headache for three days. To combate this, I started to try and have a full glass of water in the morning even if I didn’t want it. As you can see I’m very interested in your post for being puffy now and the drinking then - i wasn’t puffy back then and actually thin. I think the metabolism/ adrenal gland is far more interesting in the regulating of the bodies systems than the oh my gosh we cant’s have a girl with that between her legs .. slice it off! we don’t like it so ..that’s enough and we’ll make sure she doesn’t either. That stuff is what it is but this has a much broader impact overall in the study of CAH and that is flippin cool and maybe will also benefit the larger population - that would be something that would be in it for us with CAH : ) a metabolic study that would help everyone. Like if I make myself drink water every hour on the hour like I did during rad/chemo plus only had veggies/fruits ..snap/snap the weight came right off. Not that I want to lose weight but it came off so easy that it was spookey. maybe during the cancer time would be a bad example for a population study but in general before if I only eat veggies/water plus this happens also. With eatting water based veggies or soup... love leek soup- I’m in the restroom all the time. I had fun with your post and hope you can see thru all my threads that I did try to answer you questions and then some. For my self I’m interested in the hypoglycemia part.

Please- would love to know if you are going to medical school and here’s another one : ) See what you and your friends can do about creating something better than cortisone to help us in the future.

Oh ...oh here’s another thing that I’m interested in - Low Oxygen, Low PH and dehydration.

Gone crazy back later.
