Well? How did it go? Did you sleep at all last night? I thought of both of you before we went to bed last night. I hope she had a blast! Where did our babies go? They grow up SO fast. I always get poochie this time of the year knowing another school year is coming to an end. Marking yet another milestone of my daughter’s life. It was like yesterday I was propping myself up on the couch with thirty pillows so my cranky infant could sleep on my chest. (the only place she would the second day home from the hospital) Little did I know I had a baby with CAH not colic! It was only yesterday she was digging in our video tapes and leaving them soggy and chewed. It was only yesterday I left her for the first time in a preschool as she happily waved goodbye as if she owned the place, while I walked out of the building muffling my sobs. Next month she will be dressed all in white making her First Communion, of course while her sappy mother sobs. Where do these years go?
