"Regular" doctors don’t always understand CAH. We were told not to give extra cortef for a high fever cause by shots when Cody was a baby. We immediately called the endo when we got home and she told us that Yes definitely give cortef if she gets a fever over 101. The pediatrician thought that because the fever wasn’t caused by illness, that Cody shouldn’t require extra cortef. He didn’t understand that the fever would still cause stress. I hope you hear from your endo soon, but I think she should definitely have extra cortef.
