True like Aimee said every person is different but.........an adrenal crisis is an adrenal crisis and is always treated the same with the solu-cortef.  (and usually the IV’s for dehydration)

When have had tomake a trip to the ER for high fever, vomiting, broken bone , aenoids removed etc. the ER Dr. has always contatcted our endo and discussed what treatment is necessary before we were discharged for his SWCAH.  Each time we have stressed dosed for a 24 hr period. Cortef was given every 6 hrs. Then we always had a follow-up visit with the peditrician.
