Hello All,

First, I think this is great site, and a wonderful way to interact with someone in the same boat. Dont know anyone with my child’s condition, and is difficult to speak with someone who has no clue what I am talking about.

Anyway we recently moved and my 7 year old daughter changed schools. She is in first grade, but with the Cortef and time she has grown and looks like a 5th or 6th grader. She states some of the kids can be cruel and call her names. I try to comfort her, but it is difficult. I advise her how much we love her and it does not matter what anyone says. She will always have her parents and younger brothers. She can’t really do as many activities with her younger brothers because they are 3 and a newborn, as she would like to with her old friends. We try to do various activities with her, but it’s not the same as playing with kids her own age. Any suggestions on helping her fit in the new school?
