Hah- not a scientist yet! I’m actually a research tech in the poultry science department at the University of Georgia. UGA, however, will let its employees take classes for free, so I’m working on getting my doctorate.MarthaF
We actually do lots of reproductive biology stuff in our lab. It was only after my daughter was born with CAH and I realized how much of what we look at could potentially be related back to CAH (we look at PCOS, decreased fertility, stuff like that) that I decided to go back to school. Ha- the professor I work for is also responsible for teaching a reproductive physiology class, and since my daughter was born he spends a whole day of class going over adrenal steriodogenesis and CAH. I like to think I had something to do with that- educate the masses, right?
