DianaI have read the same.... I assume it is not current information. My daughter recently had surgery done by a Cornell physician and dialators WERE NOT used post operative NOR WILL THEY BE used at a young age. When the time comes (at adolescence or later) if her vaginal opening needs enlargement dialators can be used OR minor surgery could also be done to help. We will cross that bridge when we come to it.....by this time current procedures may again have improved.
Surgical procedures and techniques are evolving for the good on a regular basis. This is one of the reasons it is so important to find an experienced physician who uses current techniques.
