Yep, each degree of virilization ...different as each child’s case and what the parents wishes are. I have a story about teenage dialation not mine either  but I’ll save it for you ...nobody really needs to read it. I think doctors try to say the best thing for the situation. I would disagree that dialation done during teen years are less tramatizing. I like the doctor you are talking about but until he has this done to him...well traumatic to deal with period like any condition may be sounds lots better.

I talked with the surgeon that along with the endo ...the experts ..."we were the experts" that commited what they felt was going to benefit me and they never wished trauma either.  The finger dialations in the one man’s mind was "less of a trauma" and that is how he sleeps at night. I can describe those encounters in detail down to the blue pokka dots on his tie. One loses being a child and teen when all this is done to you....that innocence.

Again, each case is so specific like snow flakes.

Dialations based on what the anatomy of the subject is. Cornell or any other medical institution it’s no different.  I never was bothered by the way I looked and had a good concept of ME but they pushed over into what they felt was correct ....they needed to get another uterus or one paper with no emotion just correct what the adrenal gland did.  We need to look and finger you because we want to make sure it’s OK....was ok before never bothered me.  You think they would let one do the dialations alone at home ? hummmm they want to make sure it’s done right.... want to do it themselves and show others ...Weee what fun for a 14 year old. I was a good girl?

If one doesn’t think that this  site is correct or others then I hope y’all advise them about it.

With respect to all of you. This stuff is what it is.

There is no Santa Claus.

The Easter Bunny isn’t real.

They shoot horses.

and surgical sites are dialated based on anatomy, surgeon’s judgement, and parent’s wishes.

Diana, it will be OK.
