My son would die without his meds so I don’t think they are ruining his life. If he isn’t getting the proper dosage then he needs to see the doctor. If you not happy with the doctor you have or worry about your sons welfare then look for another doctor.

Our son is 9 and he is doing great. It gets easy at times to forget he has CAH. We have a great doctor who keeps him right on track.

Please remember what they told us in the ICU when our son was diagnosed. If he goes more then three days without his meds he will die.  :( I know it can be hard but when he’s being medicated correctly there shouldn’t be a lower quality of life.
