A possible hernia occurred to me as well.  I will ask the dr about that when I talk to him tomorrow.  They did a CT scan and the preliminary report looked good.  She had to drink a barium solution 1 hr before the scan and they gave her something else when they were doing the actual scan.  I don’t know if a hernia would show up on a CT scan or not.
