My daughter is 2 years old, she has swcah, when she is cutting teeth she gets very sick, almost flu like symptoms. I don’t know why, maybe her immune system is just lower due to the teeth coming in, but she always gets over it, I have had to triple and double meds while she is teething due to fever, but after a couple of days she is fine. I don’t know about the solucortef. I have never had to give an injection (knock on wood) She did get dehydrated and had to go to the ER and they gave it to her thru IV, so I really don’t know who gets it, I just know I have some for her, if needed.
