I agree with Martha - at least the doctors have acknowledged that we do not like the word intersex, which we all agree does not apply to CAH, whether we are talking about girls born with ambiguous genitalia or boys with no genital malformation; neither are intersexed!) 

I am not keen on the terminology Disorders of Sexual Development either but can’t argue with the fact that this is more accurate as the condition does affect production of sex hormones (androgens) which in turn can affect sexual development.
