Well I just had my first run with my SWCAH daughter being in adrenal shock.  I talked to the endo and explained the last few weeks leading up to her adrenal shock and he simply told me to call the children’s hospital and page an endo BEFORE I take her to the ER or doctor’s office.  Last week I asked 3 different times whether or not I should stress dose her and each time her doctor said no she’s fine.... yeah so almost dying is fine (I guess)  I was so upset.. I am considering moving to a place that has somewhat knowledgable doctors at it.  Did I mention that the hospital itself didn’t have any steroidal hormone other than prednisone?  Yeah.... When I first brought her home (the first time) they stated to her endo that they had everything to take care of emergent situations.  For some reason I think that they were lying.
