Roberta -

I can’t say that I understand what it is like to go through what you are going through - but recently I went through the process of being tested for various types of cancer and in the waiting period for the results I realized how much of life I was missing - and how much I wanted to do still. I remember being in periods of my life that I just didn’t want to bother getting up anymore but for one reason or another I kept getting up and those periods passed and now I am grateful, but it sure was hard to see when I was there.

Again, through all the testing I realized how important it is to find a doctor that treats his patients like he would want to be treated. Being without a doctor like that, who has so much influence on the quality of your day to day life, can be isolating. Find a better one. If you don’t want the confrontation just call in for your records to be sent to your new doc and you don’t ever have to see that guy again. I agree that you should contact CARES in reference to a endo in your area - even if they don’t have one that is very close maybe they can recommend someone else.

PS My friends say that e-Harmony isn’t worth the effort and that you should try Match.com. ;-)
