Hi Jill,

You are so sweet!  Thank you for your caring response.

After I read your note and the other responses, I had a bit of a pity party.  Then I checked the phone book and internet for other Endocrinologists in the area.  The only other ones are in the same office.

My pastor is an excellent teacher but I don’t respect him much as a shepherd/counselor.

My endocrinologist told me that she won’t be my primary care physician and she won’t prescribe antidepressants for me so I see a family practice physician for everything not to do with my cah including the prozac prescription.  I don’t care for her either - I don’t think she’s ever actually touched me.

Anyway, after I read all of the suggestions about getting some tests done, I left a message for my endocrinologist or her assistant to call me back.  I haven’t heard back yet but when I do, I will ask if they did any of those tests when I saw her last.  If they didn’t, I will ask that they do them.  Maybe that will help me.

Thanks again for your note - it made me feel very special.

Love,

Roberta
